It starts out with the chariot race. This scene has been copied in almost every racing movie ever. Judah is ready to take on the race, but then Masala shows up and he has spikes on his wheels in order to take down other chariots. The race starts, Judah wins and Masala is trampled by horses.

After the chariot race Masala, while on his death bed, talks to Judah. He tells him, in his last dying breath, that his mother and sister have leprosy. Judah then travels to the Valley of the Lepers, where his mother and sister are. He then changes his mind and does not look at them.
Later, his lady-friend tells him to bring them to Jesus so they can see death is not so bad. He finally talks to them and brings them to Jesus. But, jesus is being crucified. Judah watches Jesus die, and say "Father forgive them, they know not what they do."
As soon as he dies, Judahs mother and sister are cured of leprosy. And everyone is super happy and that is the end of the movie.

If I had to describe this movie in one word, it would have to be, long. This movie could have easily been an hour shorter. But the weird thing was that it kept my attention. This surprised me because I usually fall asleep halfway through movies like this. I thought it was a great movie, and INCREDIBLY impressive for a movie that came out in 1959. The sets can be matched by no other movie and the acting is even good.
All in all, I would give this movie 4/5. I thought it was great, and recommend watching it, especially if you have seen the movie "Life of Brian"
Next on the movie list today, is something a little different. Toy Story...
